NucliThera AS has engaged Ada Repetto-Llamazares as Chief Scientific Officer as of February 1, 2025.
Ada Repetto-Llamazares, PhD, is an accomplished leader in radiopharmaceutical development, combining over 15 years of hands-on expertise in advancing radioligand therapies with a strong foundation in nuclear physics and dual PhDs—a PhD in radioligand therapy from the University of Oslo and a PhD in Engineering from NTNU. With an in-depth understanding of biotech start-up dynamics, she has played a pivotal role in scaling two start-ups from small teams of 3–5 to organisations of 30–60 employees, collaborating across functions to drive success and achieve company goals. Her experience at Nordic Nanovector, where she completed an industrial PhD and later were leading key projects related to Betalutin etc, and her recent
work at ARTBIO—where she built and managed a preclinical team from scratch and established it in a specialized lab—underscore her ability to lead innovation and growth. Ada’s career is marked by crossfunctional leadership and with extensive publication- and patent contributions, highlighting her commitment to advancing radiopharmaceuticals from early research through to clinical phases and making a meaningful impact in the biotech sector.
Roy H Larsen, Chairman of the Board, comments: We are very pleased that Ada, with her long experience with Nordic Nanovector patents and technologies, has decided to join our effort to build upon the former Nordic Nanovector programs.
Ada Repetto-Llamazares says: I am excited to join the experienced team at NucliThera, with whom I share a commitment to advancing radioimmunotherapy and strengthening Norway’s role as a global hub in this field. Having worked with Nordic Nanovector’s patents in the past, I look forward to building a research organisation that maximises their potential and drives innovative treatments forward. Together, we have an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through breakthrough therapies.
